Mobile Directory

August 2012 - NDI has announced the introduction of a mobile version of the Online Alumni Directory, a new way for alumni to access information about and keep in touch with their classmates.

The mobile version is a "web app", rather than a app that needs to be downloaded and installed on a user's smartphone. This means it will work on a wider variety of phones (iPhone, Android, Blackberry) and allows for faster upgrades.

It is fully integrated with the existing online directory, all content that can be viewed in the online directory can be seen using the mobile directory. A powerful keyword search function makes it easy to find classmates by name, year, location, company, etc.

The innovative mapping feature uses the phone's GPS to display a local map with pins of alumni who live or work nearby. Clicking on any icon shows contact details of each person.

The mobile directory is a no-cost option, available as part of our client's existing configurations.

Multi-Search Criteria
Alumni can search using year of graduation, geographic locations, maiden name, profession and other criteria to find their fellow classmates across the country and around the world.
